PRIVACY POLICY

At Christian Financial Ministries, we place the highest priority on protecting the integrity of all of your data, your transactions, you.

Because we gather certain types of information about the people we serve, we feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it.

Information
Christian Financial Ministries gathers and tracks two types of information about customers: (i) data that Team Members provide through optional, voluntary registration on our site and (ii) aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our site. The information enables us to better tailor our content to the needs of our Team Members and helps us better understand the demographics of our audience. Christian Financial Ministries does not share information about individual Team Members (except as may be required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal processes) with any third party who is not involved in the Team Members’ specific transactions. Christian Financial Ministries gathers Team Member information in the following manner:

Electronic newsletters (Dispatches)
The Christian Financial Ministries site may offer free electronic newsletters. Christian Financial Ministries will gather the email addresses of those who voluntarily subscribe. Subscribers may remove themselves from Christian Financial Ministries mailing lists by following the instructions contained in every dispatch.

Surveys
Occasionally Christian Financial Ministries may conduct Team Member surveys to better target content and services to our audience. We never share any information regarding individual Team Member identifiable data with any third party.

Usage Tracking
Christian Financial Ministries tracks user traffic patterns throughout its website.  However, it does not correlate this information with individually identifiable data. Christian Financial Ministries segments overall usage statistics according to a user’s domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every customer’s browser).

Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. Generally, a cookie file can contain information, such as an ID, that the site uses to track the pages you have visited, but the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. Generally, a cookie cannot read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Christian Financial Ministries uses cookies to track customer traffic patterns as described above as you click on various links throughout the site.

Use of the Information
Christian Financial Ministries uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our site. The info is used to provide interactive or personalized elements on the site or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users. As stated above, Christian Financial Ministries uses information that users voluntarily provide in order to send out electronic newsletters and to enable users to participate in polls and message boards. We may send out newsletters to subscribers, and occasionally send out special communications when we think customers might be interested in certain activities. Christian Financial Ministries never shares newsletter mailing lists with any third parties, including advertisers or partners. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site users like and do not like based on traffic to those areas. Christian Financial Ministries does not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.

We track search terms entered into our search engine as one of many measures of what types of products our users are looking for. We do not track which terms a particular customer enters.

Opt-Out Policy
Christian Financial Ministries gives users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include opting not to receive our electronic newsletters and order status emails when using the site.
